When it comes to the application of Nylon sandwich belts, it can be used on plenty of machines from different industries, such as textile machines, paper manufacturing and converting machines, corrugated/folder-gluer machines, live rollers, cutters, printing, wood working equipment, tissue and tube winders, etc
Based on many years of experience in Polyamide belt products, GC nylon core belt has great properties due to its classic structure and our usage of good raw material for belt cover and tension member:
1,In total, the belt is divided into 5 layers;
2, For both two sides of the belt (L1 & 5L), also called conveying side and running side/pulley side, they are covered with NBR rubber, and we use XNBR for some belt types ;
3, For traction layer, it consists of one PA foil core layer (L3) and two PA fabric layers (L2 & 4L);
Why choose PA sheet as the core traction member? With 1%-2% standard elongation characteristic, Nylon is a quite flexible material. In the meantime, it can provide great chemical resistance property to the belt, such as oil, ozone exposure, steam, fat, benzine. But do remember that they are not able to be resistant to acids (organic and inorganic), phenols, ketones, and alcohols. And nylon sandwich belt should be placed in a dry and ventilated place, to avoid cracking due to wetting.
GC's belt products are all from mature joint technology and advanced joint equipment. The joint quality of Nylon core belt plays an important role in its’ usage performance. When splicing the belt:
Step 1, must guarantee its’ smooth and uniform after the slicing from belt roll, otherwise will lead to running deviation under usage;
Step 2, grind the belt properly and precisely, CNC automatic grinder is always a good choice;
Step 3, apply the appropriate adhesive onto the belt, generally there are two kinds of bond, one goes onto the nylon film layer, and another that goes onto the rubber layer;
Step 4, according to the thickness of the belts to select prope
There are many different types of polyamide belts from GC. The thickness range generally is 1-5mm.
