When coming to conveyor belt industry, the first market GC stepped into is photovoltaic new energy industry, by offering all kinds of processing and conveying belts to the PV module manufacturing line. Teflon tabber and stringer belt is one of our most competitive conveyor belts for PV industry.
Generally, there are two kinds of PTFE tabber stringer belt available from GC. The first type is as above picture shows--2-layer composited Teflon belt: The main material for both two layers are glass fiber cloth or Kevlar cloth, and the cloth is woven with high-strength glass fiber yarn or Kevlar (aramid). And then use a unique process to coat the upper and lower layers of cloth with Teflon resin. Finally, the two layer will be laminated together by Teflon welding machines.
And for two-layer Teflon laminated solar stringer belt, the outer side is normal brown color, while the inner side is black color with anti-static property.
In the meantime, the 2-layer laminated stringing belt is spliced by a method named toothed connection (or overlap joint ), which make the laminated belt form a strong and smooth endless connection. Due to this splicing process, the strength of the stringing belt has been enhanced, and at the same time, more stable running performance has been obtained without running deviation.
The other type of tabber stringing belt from GC is seamless PTFE belt, which use the same cloth material as the 2-layer stringer belt, but the key difference is that the cloth are woven by circular weaving equipment to form the belt shape and then coated with PTFE resin. It’s the circular weaving machine that gives this PTFE fiber glass belt the seamless structure, and this results in a longer usage life without breakage at the connection. And the colour for this stringer belt from GC is brown or black.
