Base silicone rubber usually means mixing organosiloxane (i.e., silicone gum) together with reinforcing fillers, structural control agents to produce a mixture with uniform quality. Generally, there are two different types of reinforcing filler are used -- fumed silica and precipitated silica.
When using fumed silica as reinforcing fillers, we get fumed silicone rubber, which has better mechanical properties than precipitated silicone rubber. GC can provide fumed silicone rubber from hardness 30 Shore A to 80 Shore A with following types:

The fumed silicone rubber from GC has great quality, not only because the raw material is good, but also it is mixed strictly following below requirements: Evenly disperse the compounding agent into the silicone gum and achieve a certain degree of dispersion; To produce a certain amount of bonded rubber between fumed silica and silicone gum, achieving a good reinforcement effect; Ensure the silicone rubber have appropriate plasticity; Remove impurities from the silicone rubber through effective filtration.
