The Types of Belts Equipped on a Carton Box Producing Line

A modern carton box producing line relies on a variety of specialized industrial belts to ensure efficient, stable, and high-precision production. Each belt on the line performs a unique function, and understanding the different types—such as the folder gluer belt, paper feeder belt, red rubber feeder belt, rubber sponge belt, and rough-top conveying belt—is essential for maintaining smooth operation. These belts work together to guarantee reliable feeding, accurate folding, and consistent conveying throughout the entire carton manufacturing process.

One of the most important belts on the line is the paper feeder belt. The paper feeder belt is responsible for pulling in sheets or corrugated boards from the stack and delivering them into the machine. High-friction design is crucial, which is why many factories choose the red rubber feeder belt as their preferred option. The red rubber feeder belt offers excellent grip, durability, and wear resistance, ensuring stable sheet feeding even at high speeds. Without a high-quality paper feeder belt or red rubber feeder belt, mis-feeds and double-feeds may occur, directly impacting production efficiency.

Once the sheets enter the folding and gluing section, the folder gluer belt becomes essential. A folder gluer belt is specially engineered to fold carton flaps precisely while carrying the board through the glue-applying zone. The consistent grip and flexibility of the folder gluer belt ensure accurate alignment and high-quality carton forming. Since the folder gluer belt constantly operates under tension and friction, choosing premium materials greatly improves its service life and performance.

In other parts of the carton line, the rubber sponge belt also plays a key role. A rubber sponge belt is commonly used for cushioning, pressing, or assisting feeding processes. Because the rubber sponge belt has a soft yet elastic surface, it helps stabilize uneven board surfaces and ensures smooth movement through the machine. Many box plants rely on multiple layers or sizes of rubber sponge belts depending on the machine design.

For conveying and transport sections, the rough-top conveying belt is widely used. The textured surface of the rough-top conveying belt provides strong friction, making it ideal for moving cartons, blanks, and stacked materials without slipping. The rough-top conveying belt is especially valuable in steep incline areas or sections where stable gripping is required.

In summary, every carton box producing line depends on a well-coordinated combination of belts. The paper feeder belt, red rubber feeder belt, folder gluer belt, rubber sponge belt, and rough-top conveying belt each contribute unique advantages that ensure efficiency, accuracy, and long-term reliability in carton production.
