Overall, the production of silicone panels basically includes the following seven steps and processes: mixing of silicone    cure,agent and color addition of silicone,calendering of silicone,composite of silicone sheets,    drum vulcanization, two-stage vulcanization,     cutting and trimming

The first step of mixing is to mix the compounding agent and silicone gum evenly through appropriate processing to prepare a mixture of uniform mass (silicone rubber base). The quality of mixed rubber plays a decisive role in the subsequent processing performance, semi-finished product quality, and finished product performance of rubber materials, so the mixing process is one of the most important processes in silicone sheeting processing. Therefore, the mixing operation must ensure that the compounding agent is evenly mixed and dispersed into the silicone gum, and it also requires high efficiency and low energy consumption.

The second step is to add cure agent and color. On the open mill, mix the double DBPH(2,5-dimethyl-2,5-di(tert-butylperoxy)hexane) and high fraction color masterbatch into the silicone rubber base, while making the material more evenly dispersed, increasing the fluidity of the mixed rubber, and removing bubbles from the mixed rubber

The third step of rolling is to use a fixed process to produce the required silicone film from the silicone compounding with vulcanized agent and color added, and apply it to the embossed fabric through a three roll rolling machine.

The fourth step of lamination is to composite the double or multiple layers of rubberized fabric and the intermediate skeleton layer (mesh fabric) that have been produced, using a drum vulcanizing machine according to a specific process, to make an unvulcanized sandwich silicone rubber plate

The fifth step of vulcanization is to place the prepared unvulcanized film on a drum vulcanizer according to a fixed process for vulcanization. At the same time, the temperature (175 ℃ -188 ℃), time (7min-30min), and pressure (210par-280par) should be set according to the actual situation

Step 6 two-stage vulcanization, place the vulcanized silicone plate in an oven according to a certain process. According to the performance requirements of the board. Set the corresponding temperature and time. Secondary vulcanization is also known as post vulcanization. The purpose is to further crosslink silicone rubber products, bake out low molecular weight products (benzoic acid) generated by peroxide decomposition, and improve the mechanical properties and compression set properties of rubber products.

The seventh step of cutting is to wait for the second stage vulcanized silicone membrane to cool and shape, and then cut the silicone sheeting according to the customer's requirements to the required specifications before packaging and shipping.
