Different classification standards and names for conveyor belts

Conveyor belts, also known as transporting belts, are composite products of rubber, fiber, metal, or plastic and fabric used in belt conveyors to carry and transport materials. Conveyor belts are widely used in situations where the conveying distance is short and the conveying volume is small.

According to the different industries used, conveyor belts can be divided into the following industry-specific conveyor belts: automotive industry, battery, aquatic industry, tire, logistics industry, chemical industry, frozen food, food conveyor belts (fruit and vegetable conveyor belts, meat conveyor belts, frozen food, leisure food), microwave conveyor belts, climbing conveyor belts, marble conveyor belts, corrugated paper conveyor belts, packaging industry, entertainment facilities, etc.

According to the specific requirements of the usage environment, conveyor belts can be divided into oil resistant, anti slip conveyor belts, climbing conveyor belts, acid and alkali resistant conveyor belts, heat resistant conveyor belts, cold resistant conveyor belts, flame resistant conveyor belts, corrosion resistant conveyor belts, moisture-proof conveyor belts, high-temperature resistant conveyor belts.

According to material composition, conveyor belts can be divided into the following categories: PVC conveyor belts, PU conveyor belts, polyethylene conveyor belts, plastic chain conveyor belts, modular mesh conveyor belts, polypropylene conveyor belts, nylon conveyor belts, Teflon conveyor belts (PTFE conveyor belts), and stainless steel conveyor belts.

According to the degree of heat resistance, conveyor belts can be divided into:

① Heat resistant conveyor belts: TI type with a resistance of no more than 100 degrees, T2 type with a resistance of no more than 125 degrees, and T3 type with a resistance of no more than 150 degrees;

② High temperature resistant conveyor belt: the temperature resistance shall not exceed 200 degrees;

③ Burn resistant conveyor belt (metal mesh core conveyor belt): temperature resistance 200-500 degrees Celsius
